My dad also has a 2010 Transit, which incidentally sounds the same because the injectors are dying at 150k. Modern diesels suck.

Not sure what my favorite “modern” commercial van is....I do quite like the current-gen FIAT Ducato. We have that over here now (although quite modified for US/Canadian safety regulations/tastes) as the RAM Promaster:

I don’t have any experience with any commercial vans, personally, but our family owned a 1993 Dodge Caravan SE minivan (I think you folks got them as ‘Chrysler Voyagers” over there...?) when I was a kid from around 1994-2004...as much as people harped on them, ours never let us down and I remember it fondly! :)
